The first FOA Graduates

By the last week of May twelve Stipendium Hungaricum students have made a successful state examination on Central European Studies at the Faculty of Arts.

The Central European Studies offers a kind of complex social science programme about the history, the economy, the political systems, the religions, the ethnical and the religious minorities and a wide range of other cultural topics and contemporary problems in this area.

Besides the compulsory and facultative theoretical and practical courses, the students also have the opportunity to learn Central European languages and to meet Central European visiting teachers who come to give detailed lectures about the political culture of their home country.

The graduates will be in possession of a complex and comprehensive knowledge about the Central European countries and the most important aspects of each country and therefore it is recommended for everyone who decided to work in the media or in any political institutions in their homelands.
